The parade will travel East along 8th Street to 3rd Ave. S.W. then to the Plymouth County Veterans Park. Any entries are welcome as long as they have a patriotic theme.
11:00 am Celebration Program
Noon Lunch at the Le Mars Convention Center, upper level (free will donation)
1:00 - 5:00 pm Root Beer Floats at Millers Lunch in the Plymouth County Historical Museum
3:00 pm Watermelon Feed at the Plymouth County Historical Museum
8:00 pm Le Mars Municipal Band Concert at Foster Park, open to the public
10:00 pm Sky Show at the Plymouth County Fairgrounds

"Be Creative at Your Library" is this year's theme for the Le Mars Public Library's summer reading program. The fun begins June 15 and runs through July 14. It's all about exploring ways to be creative through dance, music, visual arts & drama. Each week's theme is somehow based on the large theme. July 29 - August 2
You can experience the “Best 5 Days of the Summer” at the 2009 Plymouth County Fair! Watch the more than 500 4-H and FFA members display their exhibits in many competitions and shows. The entertainment provided free to fairgoers rivals and exceeds the variety and quality of entertainment provided by many state fairs. Be sure and stop by one of many food stands and support the local groups providing great fair food! Click here for more details on fair.
